Under the name Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA), the UvA, HvA, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Amsterdam UMC have combined their valorisation expertise. The IXA-UvA team offers researchers the expertise of grant advisers, business developers and legal experts. The workshops and webinars that these experts provide support the development of valorisation skills. Furthermore, IXA-UvA offers advice, assistance, facilities and resources during every valorisation step - from concept formation to financing and implementation to the publicity of an idea or invention

IXA regularly organizes thematic workshops and webinars for  researchers and PhD students. The webinars focus on the valorisation of research; what is valorisation actually and what does it mean for your research, how you approach a collaboration with external parties and what agreements you have to make, sharing research knowledge and how you can protect knowledge (e.g. with a patent), how to finance research projects and more.

The workshops and webinars are interactive and contain a lot of practical information: you can get started right away.
